The YF-S201 Water Flow Sensor is a compact, reliable flow sensor designed to measure liquid flow rates between 1 and 30 liters per minute. It uses a sealed, integrated magnetic Hall-effect sensor to produce an electrical pulse with every rotation of the internal rotor, providing a straightforward pulse output that can be counted or timed by microcontrollers and data acquisition systems. Key characteristics include a standard 1/2 inch nominal pipe connection for easy integration into existing plumbing and a 5V TTL pulse output compatible with common logic levels. The sensor is supplied with a 15 cm (5.9 inch) cable for connection to control or monitoring equipment.
