M5StickC Plus2 ESP32-Pico Mini Iot Development Kit

M5StickC PLUS2 is an iterative version of M5StickC PLUS, powered by the ESP32-PICO-V3-02 main controller with built-in WiFi. This compact development kit integrates a rich set of hardware resources—infrared transmitter, RTC, microphone, GREEN LED, 6-axis IMU (MPU6886), buttons, passive buzzer, and a 1.14-inch 135×240 TFT (ST7789V2) display—within a wearable and wall-mountable plastic enclosure.

The device includes a 200mAh Li-Po battery, Type-C port, GROVE socket (I2C/I/O/UART), 2 MB PSRAM and 8 MB flash, plus a 2.4G 3D antenna. Accessible GPIO pins (G0, G25/G36, G26, G32, G33) and extendable sockets support HAT and Unit series accessories for expanded functionality. Operating temperature is 0°C to 60°C, and the product measures 48×25×13 mm with a weight of 17 g.

Power control: To wake the device, press BUTTON C for >2 seconds or use an RTC IRQ; after wake, set HOLD (GPIO4) high in program initialization to maintain power. To power off without USB external supply, press BUTTON C for >6 seconds or set HOLD(GPIO4)=0 in software to cut power.

Development & compatibility: M5StickC PLUS2 supports multi-platform development, including UIFlow, MicroPython, Arduino, and .NET nanoFramework, enabling rapid IoT prototyping and educational or DIY projects. Typical applications include IoT terminal controllers, wearable devices, STEM education tools, and DIY creations.
