Overview
The LiitoKala Lii-500 is a multi‑channel smart battery charger and capacity tester designed to handle lithium‑ion (Li‑ion, LiPo) and nickel‑based (Ni‑MH, NiCd) cylindrical cells including common sizes such as 18650, 26650, 14500, AA and AAA. It provides independent operation for four channels with selectable charging currents and multiple capacity test modes.

• Independent 4‑channel charging: different batteries and different currents can be charged simultaneously.

Capacity Testing Modes
• FAST TEST: two‑step quick capacity detection (discharge then full charge) performed independently per channel.
• NOR TEST: standard three‑step capacity detection (full charge, discharge, charge) for more complete capacity measurement.
• CHARGE, FAST TEST and NOR TEST modes can operate simultaneously and independently on different channels.

Safety and Protections
Built‑in protections include overcharge and over‑discharge protection, short‑circuit protection, temperature protection, 0V activation, reverse polarity detection and intelligent identification of faulty cells. Cells with voltages in the 1.65–2.2V range are detected and will not be charged.

Additional Functions and Operation
The unit includes a standard 5V/1A USB output that can be powered from one to four lithium batteries (USB output not available from nickel hydrogen cells). It uses a dedicated 12V/2A DC power adapter. Controls include MODE, CURRENT and a 1/2/3/4 channel button to select and view per‑channel data.
