What is the GY-SGP30? The GY-SGP30 is an air quality monitoring sensor module that integrates the SGP30 multi-pixel metal-oxide (MOX) gas sensor. It measures Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC) and equivalent CO₂ (eCO₂) by converting detected hydrogen and ethanol concentrations into these values. The module is designed for long-term stability and low drift, making it suitable for smart home devices, ventilation systems, and Internet-of-Things (IoT) air quality applications. Key features The module accepts 3.3V or 5V supply voltage. I²C (IIC) communication interface for simple integration. Uses an imported high-sensitivity SGP30 sensor; the sensor chip operates at 1.8V.
